Best Gym Management Software in the Philippines (2026): An Honest Comparison

Fitedash Team · · 10 min read

Full disclosure up front: we make Fitedash, so yes, it's in this list, and yes, we think it's the best fit for most independent gyms in the Philippines. But we'll tell you where competitors are stronger, and where Fitedash isn't the right choice. Nobody paid to be included.

Most "best gym software" lists are written for gyms in the US or UK. They compare tools on features that matter there and quote prices that assume a US-sized membership fee. A gym in Quezon City or Cebu charging ₱1,500 a month has different math, different payment habits, and a different legal checklist (hello, RA 10173).

So here's a comparison written for gyms here.

Quick answer

If you are… Best fit
An independent gym or studio in the Philippines that wants predictable pricing Fitedash
A large wellness chain or spa with a big marketing budget Mindbody
A boutique class studio that wants a branded booking app Glofox
A martial arts school in the US or abroad Gymdesk
A Southeast Asian studio that needs built-in door access hardware vibefam
A member-based organization (not just a gym) that wants a full member portal Memberlytic

What we compared

For each tool, we looked at:

  1. Published pricing. Can you see what you'll pay before talking to sales?
  2. How price scales. Does it go up per location, per member, or per add-on?
  3. Fit for Filipino gyms. Multiple programs per member (gym + boxing + PT), student rates, local data handling.
  4. Data privacy. Can it support your obligations under the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (RA 10173)?

Prices below were checked in October 2026 from each vendor's own website where available. Most international tools price in USD, so we've added approximate peso amounts at about ₱60 per US dollar. Prices and exchange rates change often, so confirm before you buy.

1. Fitedash (our product)

Best for: Independent gyms, boxing and Muay Thai gyms, and fitness studios in the Philippines.

Fitedash was built for how Filipino gyms actually run. A member might have gym access, a boxing program, and a PT package at the same time, on different expiry dates, at a student rate. That's the default case for us, not an edge case.

One of the fastest-growing gym platforms in the Philippines. Fitedash has grown its client base by 80% so far in 2026, and the product moves just as fast. In the past year alone we've added online registration with digital waivers, a built-in POS, an Enterprise plan with multi-location management, and an HRIS add-on for staff. Much of that roadmap comes straight from feature requests by Filipino gym owners.

What you get:

  • QR code check-in. Members scan in, and the front desk instantly sees whether they're active and when their plan expires.
  • Multiple subscriptions per member, each with its own expiry.
  • Unlimited programs and classes (boxing, yoga, Muay Thai, PT) with attendance tracking.
  • Real-time revenue dashboard split by subscriptions, class fees, and product sales.
  • Built-in POS for drinks, supplements, and merch.
  • Optional HRIS add-on on the Pro plan, for managing your staff alongside your members.
  • Online member registration with digital waivers.
  • Data primarily stored in the Philippines, with operations aligned to RA 10173 and NPC rules.

Pricing (published, in pesos):

  • Starter, ₱2,500/mo: QR check-in, up to 200 active members, 1 program, 1 admin.
  • Pro, ₱4,000/mo: unlimited members, programs, and admin accounts, plus revenue dashboard, sales tracking, and online registration. HRIS available as an add-on.
  • Enterprise, from ₱20,000/mo: dedicated server and database, multi-location, custom mobile app, API access, dedicated account manager.

Why we think it wins for most local gyms: Two reasons. First, it's priced in pesos for Philippine gyms, so there are no exchange-rate surprises on your bill. Second, the Pro plan is a flat ₱4,000/month with unlimited members. Your software bill doesn't go up just because your gym is growing. Compare that with tools that charge more as your active member count rises (see Gymdesk below) or per location (Mindbody).

Where Fitedash falls short (honestly):

  • The Starter plan is limited to 200 members and one program. Most gyms with classes will want Pro.
  • HRIS costs extra on top of the Pro plan, rather than being included.
  • Multi-location is Enterprise-only. If you have two or three branches, that's a big jump in price.
  • We're newer and smaller than Mindbody or Glofox, so you won't find as many third-party integrations or YouTube tutorials. The upside: when you need something, you talk directly to the team that builds the product, and local feature requests turn into real features quickly instead of sitting in a global backlog.

2. Mindbody

Best for: Large wellness chains, spas, and studios that want access to the Mindbody consumer marketplace.

Mindbody is the biggest name in fitness and wellness software. Its main advantage is its consumer app and marketplace, where people can discover and book studios, plus a very deep feature set covering marketing, payroll, and retail.

Pricing: Mindbody's pricing page says plans start at $99 USD/month per location (about ₱5,900), and its FAQ mentions an entry plan from $79/month (about ₱4,700) in North America and Asia. Higher tiers (Accelerate, Ultimate) require talking to sales.

Where it falls short for Filipino gyms:

  • Pricing is per location, so every new branch adds a full subscription.
  • Full pricing isn't published beyond the entry tier.
  • It's built primarily for the US market. Before paying for the marketplace, ask how many active app users it actually has in your city.
  • For a single-location gym that mainly needs check-ins, memberships, and revenue tracking, it's a lot of software to pay for and learn.

3. Glofox

Best for: Boutique class studios (spin, HIIT, Pilates) that want a branded member app for class booking.

Glofox (now part of ABC Fitness) is strong on class scheduling and offers a branded mobile app where members book classes under your gym's name.

Pricing: Glofox does not publish pricing. You need to request a quote. Third-party estimates generally put entry plans at around $100 to $110/month (about ₱6,000 to ₱6,600), with higher tiers well above that, but treat those as estimates only.

Where it falls short for Filipino gyms:

  • No published pricing, which makes it hard to compare or budget.
  • It's built around class booking. If your gym is mainly open-gym memberships with a few programs on top, you may be paying for features you won't use.
  • Quotes are typically in USD, EUR, or GBP, not pesos.

4. Gymdesk

Best for: Martial arts schools and small gyms, mainly in the US.

Gymdesk is a well-liked, straightforward tool. It's transparent about pricing, includes all features on every plan, offers unlimited staff accounts, and has a 30-day free trial with no credit card. Credit where it's due: their own comparison article is one of the more honest ones out there.

Pricing (published, USD): Gymdesk prices by active member count:

Active members Price (with Gymdesk Payments) Standard price
Up to 50 $75/mo $100/mo
51 to 100 $100/mo $125/mo
101 to 150 $150/mo $175/mo
151 to 250 $200/mo $240/mo

Extra locations are $50 to $100/month each, and a branded app is $100/month.

Where it falls short for Filipino gyms:

  • Your bill grows with your membership. A gym with 200 active members pays $200 to $240/month on Gymdesk (about ₱12,000 to ₱14,400), compared with Fitedash Pro at a flat ₱4,000/month for unlimited members.
  • The lowest prices assume you use Gymdesk Payments, which is built around US payment processing.
  • It's designed for the US market, not for local requirements like RA 10173.

5. vibefam

Best for: Studios in Southeast Asia that want class booking plus integrated door access.

vibefam is a regional player that focuses on class booking, member apps, and door access integration (PIN-based entry). It also advertises support for local payment methods like GCash and PayMaya.

Pricing: Not published as a simple price list on their site. Request a quote.

Where it falls short for Filipino gyms:

  • Pricing isn't transparent, so it's hard to compare without a sales call.
  • Its strength is class-based studios. Traditional open-gym setups may not need its booking-first approach.

6. Memberlytic

Best for: Organizations that run memberships beyond just a gym, such as clubs, associations, and multi-service facilities.

Memberlytic is a Singapore-based membership platform with a gym-specific offering. It covers renewal automation, a self-service member portal, digital membership cards, email broadcasts, and QR or biometric check-in. It also mentions GCash and Maya payments.

Pricing: Not published. They offer a demo and a quote in local currency.

Where it falls short for Filipino gyms:

  • No public pricing.
  • It's a broad membership platform rather than a gym-first tool, so setup may take more configuration for a typical gym.

The real competitor: spreadsheets, a logbook, and GCash screenshots

Let's be honest: most gyms in the Philippines aren't choosing between Mindbody and Glofox. They're choosing between software and the system they already have, usually a paper logbook, an Excel sheet, and a group chat full of payment screenshots.

That setup is "free," but it costs you in ways that don't show up on a bill:

  • Expired members who keep training because nobody checked the logbook.
  • No clear view of revenue by program or product.
  • Hours of admin every week reconciling payments and renewals.
  • Privacy risk. Paper forms and shared spreadsheets make it hard to meet your obligations as a data controller under RA 10173.

If you're on this setup, any of the tools above is a step up. We'd just suggest starting with one that's simple enough that your front-desk staff will actually use it.

Frequently asked questions

What is the best gym management software in the Philippines?

For most independent gyms and studios, Fitedash is the best fit. It's built specifically for Filipino gyms, has published peso pricing starting at ₱2,500/month, offers unlimited members on the Pro plan (₱4,000/month), and primarily stores data in the Philippines. It's also one of the fastest-growing local options, with 80% client growth so far in 2026. Larger chains may prefer Mindbody, and class-focused boutique studios may prefer Glofox.

How much does gym management software cost in the Philippines?

Most options cost between ₱2,500 and ₱15,000 per month for a single location. Fitedash starts at ₱2,500/month, while international tools price in USD: Gymdesk starts at $75/month (about ₱4,500) and Mindbody at $79 to $99/month per location (about ₱4,700 to ₱5,900). Several providers, including Glofox, vibefam, and Memberlytic, only provide pricing through a quote.

Does gym software need to comply with the Data Privacy Act?

Yes. Member records include personal information covered by RA 10173. As the gym owner, you're the data controller, so you should choose software that stores data securely, lets you export it, and supports your obligations to the National Privacy Commission.

Can I switch from Excel or a logbook to gym software?

Yes. Start by moving over your active members and their current subscriptions. With Fitedash, new members can also register online, and everyone can check in with a QR code from day one.
